Multi-stage paint correction plus a pro-grade System X ceramic coating, applied at your driveway from Alamo Heights to New Braunfels. Six to eight years of UV-stable gloss, hydrophobic protection, and etching resistance. From $1,200.
Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent SiO₂ layer that bonds to your clear coat at a molecular level. Done right, it changes how a car ages: repelling water, sap, bug etching, brake dust, and the UV that fades San Antonio paint in a few summers.
Done wrong, it locks defects in. Every ShineLab job starts with a paint correction. We only use System X PRO+ and MAX, two of the most respected professional coatings in the industry.
EV owners: Teslas, Rivians, Lightnings, and Sierra EVs need correct surface prep for aluminum body panels. We do this every week. Ask about our Model 3 / Model Y full vehicle package.
Every package includes a thorough decontamination wash, iron and tar removal, and a measured paint thickness check before any correction work begins.

Pricing reflects sedans & coupes in good condition. SUVs, trucks, and heavily oxidized paint may require an adjusted quote.
Most "ceramic coating" services are just wax on dirty paint. A real ceramic job starts with paint correction: measuring clear coat, identifying defects under inspection lighting, and removing swirls, oxidation, etching, and holograms with progressively finer compound and polish stages.
ShineLab uses paint thickness gauges before, during, and after correction to guarantee we're improving the finish without endangering the clear coat. The result: a paint surface that reflects light cleanly, beads water aggressively, and gives the coating something worth protecting.
We meet at your home or office, measure paint thickness across multiple panels, and document any existing damage. You get a written plan before any work starts.
Foam pre-soak, two-bucket hand wash with pH-neutral soap, iron-fallout remover, and clay bar to extract embedded contamination the eye can't see.
Multi-stage compounding and polishing under inspection lighting until swirls, etching, and oxidation are removed and the paint reads as a true mirror.
Paint is wiped with an IPA solvent to strip oils, then System X is applied panel by panel and flashed under controlled lighting. Multiple coats on body, wheels, glass, and trim per package.
You receive a maintenance kit, a written wash schedule, your coating warranty, and registration in the System X owner database.

System X PRO+ is rated for up to 6 years, MAX up to 8. In San Antonio's UV-heavy summers, real-world life depends on wash habits and where the car lives. With maintenance washes, and avoiding tunnel washes with rotating brushes. Both products easily clear their rated lifespan.
Always. A coating bonds to whatever finish is under it. If we coat over swirls and oxidation, you've locked those defects in for 6+ years. Every ShineLab ceramic package includes correction calibrated to your paint's condition.
Yes. We're fully mobile across San Antonio, Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Schertz, Cibolo, New Braunfels, and Bulverde, with our own water, power, lighting, and inspection tools. A covered garage or fully shaded driveway works best for proper coating cure.
PRO+ packages start at $1,200, and MAX flagship packages start at $1,550. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, paint condition, and correction stages required. We always quote in writing after inspecting the car. No surprises.
Two-bucket hand wash with a pH-neutral soap every 2–4 weeks. Avoid automated tunnel washes with brushes. We send every client home with a maintenance kit and a written wash guide, and offer optional annual maintenance services to keep the coating at spec.
No. Ceramic adds chemical resistance and hydrophobicity, not impact resistance. For rock chip protection on hoods, fenders, and bumpers, ask about paint protection film (PPF). Coating and PPF often go together for daily-driven luxury vehicles.
